Product Manager

We’re looking for a passionate & inquisitive Product Manager to get involved in the enterprise area of Resolver, supporting us in delivering exceptional value to our growing list of UK and International clients. You’ll be instrumental in delivering our client roadmaps, identifying and translating client and user needs into workable solutions and to deliver value and efficiency.

As the UK’s most trusted free complaints website, Resolver works hard to champion better outcomes for everyone with fast, jargon-free issue resolution. We work across the consumer market place, providing advice and tooling  to businesses, regulators, governments and their customers.

The Role:

This role reports to the UK CEO and you can expect to be working within a product team responsible for delivering a product to a range of clients. The team consists of developers, system architects, project managers, designers and other product managers.

As a Product Manager you will:

  • Work with the client and client delivery team to deliver the vision, strategy, roadmap and backlog for our client implementations; ensuring alignment to business/divisional vision & goals, and our technology strategy
  • Be the champion for the product both internally and with our clients -produce/present clear communications to ensure buy-in to what you are aiming to achieve
  • Explain the customer and business need to your team, and collaborate effectively with them to break down complex pieces of work into smaller deliverable pieces of value;work with the team to write user stories and acceptance tests, provide direction on short-term tasks/near-term priorities
  • Support the client in developing the benefit/investment case for product features and functionality to ensure it is delivering value for money
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of product implementation iterations, prioritising work and making appropriate trade-offs–Communicate progress, proactively manage risks & issues, escalating to management team where necessary
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, system architects, data scientists, digital designers, other product teams and 3rd parties to launch new features - maximising re-use across the overarching product and the business
  • Work with service support to prioritise, coordinate and communicate the resolution of live product issues
  • Understand and report progress against agreed outcomes and related success measures
  • Use data to drive analysis of new features / iterations and drive prioritisation of future work

About you

  • Excellent planning & prioritisation skills
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, good presentation skills
  • An understanding of common software development practices
  • Ability to analyse processes and data to draw insight, and identify opportunities
  • Passion for the product, be the authority in all aspects of the client implementation
  • Proactivity and initiative, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work unsupported
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Recognition of the concepts of shared responsibility and effective collaboration
  • Willingness to learn, experiment and collaborate
  • Understanding how your role fits into the bigger picture
  • Ability to develop and deliver a product roadmap
  • Accountability for the delivery of your roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve this
  • Engaging people around the roadmap for your product, effectively communicating and building trust
  • Managing regular ambiguity
  • Anticipating risks, understand inter-dependencies, and facing into difficult conversations to define appropriate actions to mitigate/resolve issues
