Resolver was built with people at its heart and business in mind

A Brief History

Since 2014 Resolver Group has been developing innovative digital platforms that create better outcomes from disputed situations for consumers, businesses and mediators alike. Our digital platforms and services offer consumers an easy route to complaint resolution and detailed insights for businesses to help transform their operations.

Founded in 2012, Resolver was developed by James Walker after he became frustrated while resolving an issue with a broken down boiler.

2012

We launched our first website in May 2014 and fully launched to the market in September of that year.

2014
2015

In 2015, we became the first ever third party to use the MoneySavingExpert.com brand.

2016

By 2016, we had achieved market-wide support for Resolver with key ombudsman, regulators and consumer organisations recommending Resolver.

During that time, we built a user base of more than six hundred thousand.

2017

In September 2017, Resolver turned three years old. Since Resolver's inception, we have received over 1.4 million cases!

2018

By February 2018, Resolver had achieved over 2 million case files. By August 2018 we had received over 2.6 million case files and over 3 million by November 2018.

2019

In 2019 we launched our data insights brand, Egeria Insights, to provide detailed, granular level insights to help organisations improve operational performance and processes. Resolver.co.uk received over 5 million complaints from consumers

2020

Our bi-annual business event, the Resolution Forum, grew to become a 100+ attended event. Resolver.co.uk received over 6 million complaints from consumers. Our new ADR product, Accord, launched to the market.

What We've Achieved

By November 2018, Resolver has helped millions of users to raise and resolve over 3 million complaints for free. The services we deliver now powers parking ticket appeals in England and Wales as well as supporting key regulators to deliver better regulation through our market level insight and knowledge.

Resolver has become the largest consumer complaint website in the UK and we are recognised by all key ombudsmen, regulators and consumer organisations.  We are proud of the positive difference we have affected, and we will continue to drive for better outcomes for consumers by helping organisations, ombudsmen and regulators to make better decisions.
